2016 (Junior): Played in 14 of 21 matches during her junior season, going 6-8 in singles and 4-6 in doubles … played mostly at No. 3 singles and was 5-6 … also saw time at No. 2 (0-2) and No. 4 (1-0) … was 3-2 in ASUN play … partnered almost exclusively with Arijana Korac in doubles … that pairing went 4-5, playing mostly at the No. 1 spot (3-5).
2015 (Sophomore): Atlantic Sun First Team All-Conference…Atlantic Sun Player of the Week … went 12-5 in singles play, including 5-0 in the Atlantic Sun, recording time mostly at the No. 2 position … also had a 2-1 record from the No. 1 slot … went 11-7 in doubles play alongside partner Eveline Lepinay, splitting time between the No. 1 and No. 2 positions.
2014 (Freshman): Unanimous selection, A-Sun All-Freshman Team ... Went 9-7 in singles play, solely at the No. 3 position ... Was 12-5 in doubles play, splitting time at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions ... Went 1-1 in the A-Sun Championship in doubles action.
Prior to Stetson: Comes to DeLand via Caracas, Venezuela, where she attended Gimnasio Virtual San Francisco Javier. The incoming freshman has been ranked as high as fourth in Venezuela, and also trained in Valencia, Spain.
Personal: Born on June 30, 1994. Daughter of Ramon and Irene Fernandez. Has three siblings; Alejandro, Ricardo, and Rodrigo.
