Biography
2010: Medically retired as a senior due to previous injuries... So highly thought of by her teammates that she was still voted as one of the team's three captains for 2010 along with Tessa Gavilsky and Kristen Higel.
2009: Played in one game as a junior... Saw action against the University of Tennessee-Martin... Picked up her first career assist in 1-0 win over UT-Martin (9/6).
2008: Was not able to see action due to injury... Earned Academic All-Conference honors for the second consecutive year.
2007: Was redshirted as a freshman... Named to the Atlantic Sun Conference All-Academic Team.
High School: Played for Carl Smith at Spruce Creek High School... Named All-Area each of her last three years... Led school to state playoffs all four years as a starting Defender ... Teams went 73-17-8 in her career... Served as team captain... Scored 23 goals and distributed 13 assists in high school career... Was a four-year Honor Roll student.
Personal: Daughter of Buddy and Doris Jowers... Born Dec. 26, 1988 in Daytona Beach, Fla.... Majoring in Rehabilitative Studies.
