Biography
2016-17 (RS-Junior): Appeared in all 32 games, making five starts … started four straight games between Feb. 1 and Feb. 11 … enjoyed the best statistical season of his career, with career highs in total points (193), points per game (6.0), rebounds (97), steals (32), field-goal percentage (.410), 3-pointers made (28) and minutes per game (19.8) … reached double figures in scoring eight times, with a high of 12 against both Citadel and Ave Maria … grabbed a season-high eight rebounds on two occasions: at Iowa and two games later vs. South Alabama … the eight boards also represents a career high … led the team with 32 steals, ranking 11th in the ASUN in total steals and 12th in steals per game (1.0).
2015-16 (Junior): Sat out the season as a medical redshirt.
2014-15 (Sophomore): Appeared in 30 games, making three starts … started the season’s first three games … scored a then-career high 11 points in Stetson’s season-opening win over Edward Waters … scored a career-high 15 points in a loss at Davidson, going 4-of-7 from the field with three 3-pointers … chipped in 10 points in home loss to Kennesaw State … was perfect from the field (4-4) in scoring nine points in Stetson’s win at Bethune-Cookman … also had three steals and three assists against the Wildcats … averaged 2.9 points and 0.7 rebounds in Atlantic Sun Conference play.
2013-14 (Freshman): Appeared in all 31 games as a freshman, playing in a reserve role … came on strong at the end of the season, combining to score 24 points in Stetson’s last two games of the season … scored 11 points in regular-season finale at Lipscomb, and tallied a season-high 13 points in Atlantic Sun Championship quarterfinal loss at Florida Gulf Coast … scored nine points on 4-of-5 shooting in loss at North Florida … followed up that effort with back-to-back seven-point efforts home wins over East Tennessee State and USC Upstate … grabbed a season-high five rebounds in regular-season loss at FGCU … also had four assists in that game against the Eagles … averaged 4.2 points and 2.1 rebounds in A-Sun play.
High School: 2013 graduate of Coral Reef High School in Miami, Fla. … led CRHS to a district championship in 2012 … earned second-team All-Dade County honors … was a member of the Black Student Union at Coral Reef.
Personal: Born Brian Malik Glasford … son of Brenda and Brian Glasford … has one brother, Travis, who played running back for Western Illinois Football from 2002-06.
