Biography

Career: Stetson's all-time leader in caused turnovers (55) ... Ranks second in school history in ground balls (133) and third in draw controls (90).

2020 (Senior): Started all five games ... Tied for the team and ASUN lead with 22 ground balls ... Also recorded three draw controls and seven caused turnovers.

2019 (Junior): Second-Team All-ASUN… ranked third in the ASUN in ground balls (59) … also fourth in the ASUN in caused turnovers (24) … her 59 ground balls were the fourth most in a season for a Hatter … her 24 caused turnovers were the most in a single season for a Hatter … appeared and started all 17 games … had a career high eight ground balls vs. Kent State … tied a career high with 4 caused turnovers vs. Mercer … had 3 games with at least 4 draw controls (vs. Fresno State, vs. Wofford, vs. Coastal Carolina) ... finished season third all-time at Stetson in draw controls with 87 … leads the program in caused turnovers with 48.

2018 (Sophomore): Played in and started all 17 games … finished the season with 25 draw controls, good for fourth on the team … scored two goals (Delaware State, Howard) … had a season-high seven draws at Marquette … also won six draws against Central Connecticut State … registered a season-high four ground balls against George Mason.

2017 (Freshman): Played in all 18 games, making 17 starts … second on the team with 32 ground balls … had three or more ground balls six times … won five draws in narrow loss to Mercer … second on the team with 15 caused turnovers.

High School: Earned all-county honors in both lacrosse and field hockey at Bay Shore High School … also ran track and participated in gymnastics … helped her lacrosse and track & field teams to county championships … earned all-state honors in gymnastics … has a sister, Johanna, who played lacrosse at Geneseo.
 
Personal: Full name is Sarah Braden Trupp … daughter of Elizabeth Trupp … Communication major … chose Stetson over Sacred Heart and Cortland.
