2018 (Junior): Started 15 games in goal … recorded three shutouts (FIU, Georgia Southern, Detroit Mercy) … named ASUN Defensive Player of the Week after leading the Hatters to season-opening wins over FIU and Towson … saved 10 shots in two games and allowed just one goal … led the ASUN with 96 saves, most by a Hatter in eight seasons … made 13 saves at Liberty and 12 at FGCU.

2017 (Sophomore): Second-team All-ASUN selection … started all 16 games in goal … enjoyed a stellar sophomore season, leading the ASIN in goals-against average (0.74), saves (76) and save percentage (.864), while also ranking fourth in and shutouts (6) … the six shutouts were the most by a Hatter since Andrea Garavaglia had seven in 2009 … made a career-high 13 saves in Stetson’s 2-1 win at Grand Canyon … named ASUN Player of the Week after making nine saves in a 0-0 game with FGCU … has 11 shutouts in two seasons, ranking third on Stetson’s all-time list.

2016 (Freshman): ASUN All-Freshman team … Second-team All-ASUN … played in and started 11 games … registered the third-lowest goals-against average in program history (0.96), ranking second in the ASUN … her five shutouts were third in the ASUN despite playing nine and eight fewer matches, respectively, than the players ahead of her … posted an 8-2-1 record in goal … made five or more saves six times … recorded a career-high 10 saves against Campbell … registered an assist against Wofford.

High School: 2016 graduate of Merritt Island High School in Merritt Island, Fla. … enjoyed an outstanding senior season … helped lead Merritt Island to a 28-1-2 record and a state semifinal appearance …  allowed just six total goals while making 71 saves as a senior … member of the Florida ODP State Team from 2010-2014 … helped lead her club team to the FYSA State Cup Final Four in four consecutive seasons, with a finalist appearance in 2013 … chose Stetson over Columbia and FGCU.

Personal: Full name is Emily Alayna Plotz … daughter of Craig and Ann Plotz … plans to major in Biology.
