Junior (2019): Was limited to just one appearance by arm issues ... Threw 2.0 innings against national runner-up Michigan, allowing a run on three hits with two strikeouts.

Summer (2018): Played for the Sanford River Rats in the Florida Collegiate League ... In eight total appearances, including five starts, had a 2-2 record with a 3.13 ERA in 23.0 innings of work ... Recorded 21 strikeouts with 18 walks.

Sophomore (2018): Has made just four appearances on the mound, all in relief ... Made his Stetson debut with an inning of work against Wagner (3/7) ... Also made appearances in games against Army (3/14), Maryland (3/24) and Florida State (4/18). 

Summer (2017): Played for the Rockford Rivets in the Northwoods League ... Saw action in seven games, all in relief, before being shut down for the summer at the end of June ... Had no record with a 2.57 ERA in 14.0 innings of work, recording nine strikeouts. 

Prior to Stetson: Originally signed with the University of Kentucky, but left Lexington following two semesters (summer/fall) for the State College of Florida in Bradenton … After redshirting for the 2016 season, he posted a 2-2 record with two saves in 24 relief appearances with a 4.36 ERA in 2017 ... Recorded an amazing 62 strikeouts in just 33 innings of work, averaging 16.91 K/9 while holding opposing hitters to a .150 batting average. 

High School: Was ranked as the No. 8 overall prospect in Illinois as a senior at Homewood-Flossmor HS in Flossmoor, Ill. ... Was also ranked among the top 500 players in the nation by Perfect Game ... Was named Most Valuable Pitcher at the Elite Baseball Training center ... Was ranked as the fourth best RHP in Illinois by Prep Baseball Report ... Finished his senior season with a 1.55 ERA ... Helped coach Todd Sippel’s Vikings to a 46-15 record over his final two seasons ... Played summer ball for Elite Baseball ... Was an honor roll student. 

Personal: Full name is Jeremy Richard Orbik ... Was born on August 11, 1996, in Hammond, Ind. ... Is the son of Greg and Julie Orbik ... Has one brother, Nick and one sister, Nicole ... Father played college baseball at Indiana State University ... Chose Stetson over UCF, South Florida, Ohio State and many others ... Received his degree in  Finance in 2019.
