Biography

2015 (Senior): Co-captain … played in and started 15 games … scored season’s only goal against Kennesaw State … helped anchor the best statistical defense in program history … had 10 ground balls.

2014 (Junior): Played in 16 games, starting in 12 ... Picked up six ground balls and won one draw control.

2013 (Sophomore): Played in and started all 16 games as a defender in her first season at Stetson ... Scored one goal on two shots ... Recorded 11 ground balls and caused eight turnovers.

Prior to Stetson: Spent two years, playing one, at Long Island University-Brooklyn ... In 2011 she started all 16 games for the Blackbirds, finishing the year with 11 ground balls, six draw controles and two caused turnovers,

High School: Was a four-year letter winner at Barron Collier High, playing defense … Helped BCHS to a pair of state titles and one state runner-up ... Was named All-County and All-Region in 2009 and was team MVP in 2010 ... Was a member of the National Honor Society ... Was also involved with the Triathalong Club, the FCA and was a volunteer shadowing doctors at the local hospital.

Personal: Full name is Elisabeth Blackwell, but goes by the nickname "Lizard" … Was born on July 14, 1992, in Alamogordo, New Mexico … Parents are Christian and Stephen Blackwell … Has one brother, Alexander, and one sister, Stephanie Bechtel … Is a biology major.
