Senior (2019): Saw action in 26 games, starting two ... Had one hit in 13 at bats ... Drew a pair of walks and had a stolen base.

Summer (2018): Played for the Academy Barons in the California Collegiate League ... Hit .140 in 15 games, picking up seven hits, including a double and a home run, in 50 at bats.

Junior (2018): Saw action in 46 games with nine starts ... Was primarily used as a late-inning defensive replacement at second base ... Saw action in 13 games in ASUN play with one hit in three at bats with one run scored ... Had a two-run triple against Manhattan (2/18) ... Had an RBI double against Purdue (3/4) ... Drove in a pair of runs against Maryland (3/23) ... Was successful on both stolen base attempts ... Played in 15 of the games in the Hatters’ 18-game win streak. 

Prior to Stetson: Played two seasons at Miami-Dade College for former FIU coach Danny Price ... Batted .304 as a sophomore in 25 games with just 46 at bats … Had a pair of doubles and drove in 10 runs ... Saw action in 21 games as a freshman, posting a .204 average with three doubles, a triple, a home run and 19 runs batted in ... Also stole five bases. 

High School: Was a first team All-County selection by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel and an All-District selection as a senior at Trinity Christian in Lake Worth for coach Miguel Cuello … Was an honor roll student for three years and helped his team to a district title as a senior while hitting .345 … Finished his prep career with a .346 average in more than 250 at bats with 19 doubles, eight triples and six home runs ... Drove in 55 runs during his career while scoring 89 ... Was successful on 28 of 33 stolen base attempts ... Played summer ball for the MLB Urban Youth Academy Barons in Compton, Calif., for former MLB standout Ken Landreaux … Also played for the Covington Lumberjacks in the Valley League in 2016. 

Personal: Full name is Bruce Kendrick Martin ... Was born on September 1, 1997, in Boynton Beach ... Is the son of Bruce Martin and Damara Thomas ... Has two brothers, Andrew and Tyler Mills ... Chose Stetson over UCF, FGCU, Florida State, Miami, Jacksonville and FAU ... Received his degree in Communications & Media Studies in 2019.
