High School/Previous School:
Moran attended St. Amant High School in St. Amant, Louisiana, where he was a standout performer under head coach Brandon Bravata. A three-year varsity player and two-year team captain, Moran earned All-District honors three times and was a two-time All-State selection. He helped lead his team to a district championship and a state runner-up finish, and was named MVP of his high school all-star game.

Moran continued his development at Chipola College in Marianna, Florida, where he spent one season before transferring to Stetson.
