Senior (2017): Made the switch from position player to pitcher ... Served as a right-handed set-up man, appearing on the mound in 21 games ... Posted an 0-2 record with a 2.61 ERA in 20.1 innings of work ... Picked up saves against High Point (2/26), UNF (5/14) and Lipscomb (5/19) ... Had a season-high three strikeouts in two innings at Bethune-Cookman (2/28) ... Appeared in four ASUN games, earning two saves while not allowing a run in 4.2 innings ... Was named to the ASUN Academic Honor Roll.

Junior (2016): Saw action in 16 games as a reserve ... Went hitless in six at bats, but drive in a run ... Lone RBI came at NJIT on May 8th ... Drew a walk against Winthrop on March 19.

Summer (2015): Played for the South Florida Huskies in the the South Florida Collegiate League ... Hit .272 in 25 games with a pair of doubles, five stolen bases and 18 RBI.

Sophomore (2015): Saw action in six games as a reserve infielder ... Had one hit in four at bats on the year.

2014: Redshirted. Did not see playing time.

High School: Was a four-year letter winner as a shortstop on the baseball team at Archbishop Carroll ... Also lettered for three years on the football team as the starting quarterback ... Was a third team All-Dade County selection in football as a senior ... Was an a All-Star selection in baseball as a senior ... Was twice named team offensive MVP ... Was a 2013 All-Count Scholar-Athlete nominee ... Batted .371 as a sophomore with 10 RBI, eight doubles and 12 stolen bases ... Bounced back from an off junior year to hit .403 as a senior with 10 RBI and 14 stolen bases ... Threw for 1,561 yards and accounted for 21 touchdowns during his junior football season ... Was an honor roll student. 

Personal: Full name is Dean Alexander Garabedian ... Was born on May 17, 1995, in Miami ... Is the son of Annmarie and Edward Garabedian ... Has one brother, Jake,  who played baseball at Elmhurst College ... His cousin, Alex Garabedian, played baseball at the College of Charleston and in the Los Angeles Dodgers organization ... Another cousin, Brittney Garabedian, played softball at Florida Gulf Coast ... Received his degree in Integrative Health Science.
