Biography

High School/Previous School:
Haywood attended Olympic High School in Bremerton, Washington, where he played under head coach Chris Campbell. A four-year varsity player and two-year team captain, Haywood earned All-State honors in 2023.

He continued his career at Edmonds College, where he appeared in 14 games with six starts. Haywood logged 66.2 innings with a 2.70 ERA and 53 strikeouts before transferring to Stetson.

Full name is Lathan Zachary Haywood. Born on November 15, 2004. Son of Erica Haywood. Has three brothers, Dylan, Hadyn, and Eli, and one sister, Rylin. Majoring in Business Administration.
