Biography

2023 Season
  • Made a team-high 20 appearances on the year, starting four game and coming out of the bullpen 16 times
  • Went 3-4 with three saves and a 6.27 ERA, striking out 46 batters in 47.1 innings
  • Made four starts and seven relief appearances against ASUN foes, recording 32 K's in 28.2 innings
  • Came out of the 'pen and earned the win at Wichita State (March 12), tossing 5.0 innings of one-run ball while striking out three
  • Followed that with 4.0 scoreless innings against Kennesaw State (March 17), holding the Owls to just two hits while striking out nine
  • Got the start against at Central Arkansas (April 22) and limited the Bears to a pair of runs on four hits while striking out five in 6.0 innings
  • Worked 3.2 scoreless innings at Queens (May 19), allowing just three hits
  • Shut down Jacksonville State in the ASUN Tournament (May 24), holding the Gamecocks to just four hits and a walk while striking out three in 6.0 scoreless innings
2022 Season
  • Preseason All-ASUN selection
  • Got a late start to the season while working his way back from the same issues that cut his 2021 season short
  • Make his first start against Florida A&M on March 11, throwing four shutout innings while allowing one hit and a season-high five strikeouts
  • Pitched well at Liberty on March 25 in a no decision, allowing one run on six hits over four innings
  • Earned his only win of the year against North Florida on April 1, allowing two earned runs on seven hits over six innings
  • Had back-to-back strong outings against Kennesaw State on April 9 and at Jacksonville on April 15 in which he went 7.0 innings in both games
  • Allowed one earned run on seven hits against the Owls in a game the Hatters lost 3-2
  • Allowed one earned run on four hits against JU in a game Stetson lost 2-0
  • Also threw 7.0 strong innings in his home start against Liberty on April 29, blanking the Flames on two hits in a game Stetson lost 2-1 in 15 innings
  • Final two outings of the year came in relief as he earned saves against South Florida on May 17 and Jacksonville on May 19
2021 Season
  • Was the ace of the Stetson pitching staff, leading the team in wins, ERA and strikeouts
  • Was a first team All-ASUN selection and was an unanimous selection to the ASUN All-Freshman team
  • Became just the third pitcher in Stetson history to earn three ASUN Pitcher of the Week honors in the same season, joining with Chris Ingoglia (2007) and Mitchell Senger (2018)
  • Threw eight no-hit innings in leading Stetson to a 4-2 series-opening win at Alabama on March 12
  • He surrendered his only two hits on the first two pitches he threw in the ninth inning
  • Left the game after recording nine strikeouts while allowing just two walks
  • Earned his first ASUN Pitcher of the Week honor for that performance
  • Was one of six players from across the nation selected as a Player of the Week by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper for his performance against FGCU on March 26
  • Threw eight innings against the Eagles, allowing just two runs on five hits with a career-high 14 strikeouts
  • Earned his second ASUN Pitcher of the Week on April 5 after throwing six shutout innings at Jacksonville on April 1
  • Allowed just three hits in that game, leading the Hatters to an 11-1 victory
  • Earned his third ASUN Pitcher of the Week for what turned out to be his final outing of the year on April 30 against Jacksonville
  • Went the distance against the Dolphins, allowing just two hits and one walk with 10 strikeouts in a dominating 5-0 victory
  • Finished third in the ASUN in ERA (2.61) and finished eighth in the league in strikeouts (67)
  • Was third in the ASUN in strikeouts per nine innings (9.73)
  • Was named to the ASUN Academic Honor Roll
2020 Season
  • Was selected as a Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American
  • Got off to a tremendous start in his rookie season, pitching well in each of his four starts
  • Had a team-leading 1.63 ERA in 27.2 innings of work
  • Opened his collegiate career with 6.2 innings against Air Force on February 16, allowing a run on five hits with eight strikeouts to earn his first win
  • Came back in his second start with 5.2 innings, allowing one earned run on six hits against Hartford on February 23 in a game Stetson won in walk-off fashion
  • Had his best overall outing against UMBC on March 1 with eight shutout innings, allowing five hits with six strikeouts
  • Posted a season-high 10 strikeouts in his final start, against Harvard on March 8, allowing three runs on three hits over 7.1 innings
  • Allowed just one walk and hit one batter in that outing
  • Was named to the ASUN Academic Honor Roll
High School
  • Played for coach Tom Dooley at Melbourne Central Catholic, helping the Hustlers to a 25-6 record as a senior
  • Posted a 10-1 record in his final prep campaign, earning Class 5A Player of the Year honors
  • Posted a 0.28 ERA in 73.1 innings of work with 122 strikeouts
  • Posted a .709 WHIP for the season and help opposing hitters to a .138 batting average
  • Was selected as a Max Preps second team All-American and was named as a FACA All-Star
  • Was twice named to All-Tournament teams and was also twice named Florida Today Athlete of the Week
  • Played shortstop when not pitching, picking up a double, two home runs and driving in 12 runs in 50 at bats
  • Pitched a complete-game, one-hit, shutout in the state semifinals, recording 11 strikeouts in seven innings
  • Posted a 0.81 ERA as a junior, allowing just six earned runs in 51.2 innings of work
  • Had 83 strikeouts against just nine walks
  • Team won three straight district titles and two of three regional crowns
  • Played for Power Baseball in 2019
