Nic joined the Stetson Baseball program as student manager in Fall of 2017. He returns for his third season this spring and will serve as the head student manager.
He was a part of the DeLand Regional championship team and was with the squad at the Chapel Hill Super Regional in 2018. He was also with the team for the ASUN Championship in his first year with the program.
Following his graduation, Nic hopes to have a career on the field in the baseball industry. Through observation and application of modern management, coaching and scouting techniques and technologies he is working to improve his skills in all of the areas that continue to shape the game.
Currently, Nic is working to assist Tyler Packanik in advanced scouting and data analysis through use of FlightScope and BATS System with Synergy.
High School: Attended Dr. Phillips HS in Orlando and graduated from Olympia HS in 2017. He was a member of Spanish and National Honor Societies and played catcher as two-year varsity letter-winner at Olympia. He volunteeres as head coach and umpire at DP Little League.
Personal:Â Full name is Nicholas Berroa. He was born on July 22, 1999, in New York City. He is the son of Nelson and Francia Berroa and has three sisters - Jennifer, Pollyanna and Cecilia.
