Nicholas Saven has worked as a student manager for the Hatters since the fall of 2018 and took over the role of director of operations on an interim basis during the 2021 season before being promoted to the full-time role. He received his undergraduate degree in Sport Business and a minor in Business Law in the spring of 2021, finishing Magnum Cum Laude and was a two-time Business School Foundation award winner. He continued his education at Stetson by pursuing his master’s in business administration and is set to complete his MBA this spring of 2024.
Throughout his time at Stetson, he has overseen the day-to-day operations of the program such as planning travel, fundraising, budgeting, branding, and implementing new social media strategies and marketing promotions. He also was an integral part of the stadium renovations completed at Melching field in the spring of 2023.
A native of Fort Lauderdale, he attended Saint Thomas Aquinas High School. He has worked with one of the premier travel baseball organizations, Cannons Baseball University, as a coach and administrator. During his undergrad he interned as a data research analyst for the leading baseball technology company in college baseball, Baseball Cloud. His research and skills acquired from the internship were implemented into the Hatters shift in a data driven approach.
