A 15-year collegiate coaching veteran, Bryan Harmon is in his sixth season as head coach of the Stetson University men’s and women’s cross country teams.

In his first season in 2016, Harmon helped lead the men's team to its highest finish at the ASUN Championship in 29 years.  All six runners posted season-highs while four runners posted PR times.  Senior Joe Beery became the first-ever Stetson men's runner to earn all-conference honors after finishing ninth in the ASUN Championship while breaking the 8K record for the third time.  He also earned ASUN Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors for the third time as well.

Harmon also helped guide the women's team to a sixth-place finish at the ASUN Championship.
The women had three runners (Brianne Boldrin, Clarissa Consol, and Laurie Scott) finish under the 19-minute mark, the first time that has happened in any 5K race in school history.  Their three times also ranked among the program's seven-fastest 5K marks all-time.

Both programs earned All-Academic Honors from the USTFCCCA.

In 2017, Harmon saw two of his runners earn ASUN All-Freshman team honors with Arye Beck and Alice Sjögen placing 21st and 20th overall, respectively, at the ASUN Championship.  Beck finished his rookie season four of the top 10 fastest 8K times in school history, while Hillary Melly notched three spots in the top 10.  Meggie Schneider ran two of the top five fastest 5K times in school history for the women.

The women's program also earned All-Academic Honors from the USTFCCCA.

In 2018, Harmon led the men's team to its highest-ever finish at the ASUN Championship, placing fourth out of nine teams.  H
illary Melly broke the school 5K, 8K and 10K records in the same season, highlighted by an 8K time of 25:02.36 at the Mountain Dew Invitational, shattering the previous record by over 30 seconds.  Melly earned second team all-conference and ASUN Runner of the Week honors. In addition, Tristen Montalvo broke the school freshman 8K record with a time of 25:24.26 at the Mountain Dew Invitational, marking the second-fastest 8K time in school history behind Melly.

Both programs earned All-Academic Honors from the USTFCCCA.

In 2019, the Hatter men placed fifth out of nine teams at the ASUN Championship with 137 points, marking just the second time in the past 33 years the Hatters have placed as high as fifth.  Sophomore Tristen Montalvo broke the 8K school record with a time of 24:19.74 at the Louisville Classic.  Over the entire season, Stetson runners posted eight of the fastest 10 8K times in school history.

After a preseason conference ranking of eighth, Stetson placed sixth at the ASUN Championship. Meggie Schneider set the school 5K record with a time of 18:26 at the Queen City Invite.  Both programs earned All-Academic Honors from the USTFCCCA.

In a COVID-shortened 2020-21 season, the Hatter men and women competed twice each in the spring.   Tristen Montalvo earned ASUN Second Team All-Conference, ASUN Runner of the Week, and ASUN All-Academic Team honors.
