High School: Played for coach Daryle Heidelburg at Norland HS … Played at Dade Christian as a sophomore, passing for 1,717 yards and 18 touchdowns … Transferred after Dade Christian dropped football … Was a team captain each of his four years … Passed for almost 4,200 yards and 37 touchdowns in his career … Was a first team All-Dade County selection as a sophomore, earning Dade Christian Player of the Year honors … Attended the Elite 11 regionals in Miami twice … Played for the South Florida Express 7 v 7 squad … Competed on the track & field team at Norland, competing in the discus, 100-meters, 400-meters, 4 x 200 and 200-meters … Received the Community Service Award, the Debate Team Award and a Florida Bright Futures Scholarship … Chose Stetson over Morgan State, Harvard, Dartmouth, Princeton and the U.S. Naval Academy.
