High School: Was a two-year letter winner for coach Michael Gottman at Durant HS in Plant City … Was credited with 70 total tackles as a senior, helping his team to an 8-3 record … Had two tackles for loss and three quarterback hurries during the season … Was also credited with three fumble recoveries and one forced fumble … Had 74 tackles as a junior  with 10 tackles for loss, including 2.5 sacks … Also had four QB hurries.
