  • Joined the Stetson football coaching staff in July of 2021

Prior to Stetson
  • Spent 2017-19 as an assistant coach at Morehouse College
    • Spent time coaching cornerbacks (2017-18) and outside linebackers (2019)
    • Produced six All-Conference players, two linebackers and four defensive backs, over three seasons
    • Had one player sign a rookie free agent contract with the NFL
    • Helped the program receive a No. 1 ranking in the HBCU gameday power poll
    • In addition to coaching, was heavily involved in scouting opponents, game planning, video analysis and recruiting
    • Was also responsible for leading community service and volunteer events
  • Worked as an intern at the University of Alabama during their Prospect Camps from 2017-20
  • Worked as VP of Business Development for a recruiting analytics company
    • Sought out and sourced new clients by developing networks and independently identifying and developing relevant resources for sales and business development
    • Worked collaboratively with the CEO and President to develop creative outreach strategies to attract and retain clients
  • Served as Defensive Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach at Georgia Prep during the 2016 season
    • Helped the program to an EAC Conference title
    • More than 40 of the players on the defensive side of the ball went on to play at Division I (FBC and FCS), Division II and NAIA programs
    • Team led its conference with 26 interceptions in one season
  • Spent four seasons coaching the Delaware Gamecocks Prep school program
    • Served as Assistant Head Coach and co-Defensive Coordinator, working with the defensive backs and linebackers
  • Served as co-Defensive Coordinator at Gattaca Junior College in Trenton, NJ
  • Coached defensive backs at Pencader High in Wilmington, DE
  • Served as co-Offensive Coordinator and receivers coach at Woodrow Wilson High in Camden, NJ
  • Was a finalist for the Bill Walsh NFL Minority Coaching Fellowship in 2019 and again in 2020
Playing Career
  • Played in high school at Concord High in Wilmington, DE, earning recognition as a Delaware Blue Gold All-Star as well as USA Today All-America and All-State honors
  • Attended Delaware State University where he played quarterback, defensive back and receiver during his four years
  • Spent seven seasons playing professionally with multiple indoor teams
    • Played for the Richmond Speed in AF2 during the 2003 season
    • Played for the Philadelphia Soul in 2004
    • Played for the Canton Legends, Rio Grand Dorados, the Lakeland Thunderbilts and the San Jose Sabercats in 2005
    • Played for the Columbus Destroyers and Chicago Rush in 2006
    • Played for the Rush and the Austin Wranglers in 2007
    • Returned to play for the Sabercats in 2008
    • Played for the Tulsa Talons in 2009

  • Received his Bachelor's Degree from Delaware State in Business Administration in 2002
  • Competed a second Bachelor's Degree, in Organizational Management, from Wilmington University in 2014
  • Has a son named Jadon Manlove-Jefferson
  • Was an active bowler. carrying a 225 average, and a member of the TNBA and USBC Bowling Association
