Nolan Behrns

Nolan Behrns

Nolan Behrns joined the Stetson staff as Director of Football Operations in August 2011.

Behrns plans, coordinates and supervise all aspects of the administrative and operational activities of the football program, as well as any other duties assigned by Coach Hughes. He oversees the programs video operations and exchange program and also coordinates the recruiting calendar.

Behrns got his start in football while an undergraduate at Nebraska-Omaha from 2007-10, serving as an offensive student assistant coach. He worked with the wide receivers and the defensive scout team as well as taking responsibility for all video operations and communications with UNO sports information. In the spring of 2010, Behrns also served as the tight ends coach for nearby Midland Lutheran College.

Upon graduation from UNO in August 2010, he officially joined his alma mater as Director of Football Operations, coordinating recruiting, team travel, camps/clinics and life skills development among other duties for the Mavericks.

When Nebraska-Omaha announced the decision to discontinue its football program in the spring of 2011, Behrns moved into the professional ranks as Assistant Director of Football Operations for the Omaha Nighthawks of the UFL. He assisted with team travel, housing, personnel transactions and other duties for Head Coach Jeff Jagodzinski’s squad.
