Played four years of varsity football at Venice High School under head coach John Peacock... Served as a team captain for two seasons... Earned the 2026 Iron Indian Award... Also played baseball during the 2023 and 2024 seasons... Considered West Florida, Montana State, North Dakota State, Valdosta State and Yale before choosing Stetson... Chose Stetson because it was the only place he could see himself spending the next four years. Cole Dylan Wetherington was born on Sept. 16, 2007... Son of Joy and Jason Wetherington... Has one older sister, Chloe... Father, Jason, played football at Ursinus College... Cousin, Connor Wetherington, competed in track and field at Charlotte... Majoring in health sciences... Aspires to become a physical therapist or chiropractor.
