High School: Was a four-year letter winner at Grayson HS … Played his senior season for coach Christian Hunnicutt … Helped the Rams to a 10-2 record as a senior as the team averaged 349 yards of total offense and 28.7 points per game … As a junior under head coach Jeff Herron, helped his team to a 14-1 record, with the only loss coming to IMG Academy … Won 14 straight after that opening loss, including an overtime victory in the Class 7A state title game … Team went 13-1 during his sophomore year under coach Mickey Conn, with the only loss in the state title game … Squad was 10-2 during his freshman season … Was an honors graduate with a 3.97 GPA.
