2021 Season

• Did not play football while attending Temple

2020 Season 

• Joined the Temple team as a walk-on in the summer
• Made his first career start and appearance against East Carolina in the season finale, becoming the first true freshman QB to start a game at quarterback for Temple since 2013
• Was selected as the Offensive Player of the Game for his performance
• Completed 10-of-21 passes for 95 yards and had two rush attempts for 13 yards

High School

• Played quarterback for head coach Rory Graver at Pope John Paul II in Royersford, Pa.
• Was the PAC Conference MVP leading his team to a 10-3 record and the District 1 Championship as a senior
• Passed for 2,744 yards and 38 touchdowns and added 620 yards and seven scores on the ground
• Was all-area, all-state, and was invited to play in the Blue-Gray All-American Game
• Earned PAC player of the year as a junior with 2,250 yards and 28 touchdowns passing and 346 yards and seven scores rushing
• Played his sophomore season at Archbishop Carroll where he totaled nearly 1,000 yards and 16 TDs through the air and on the ground
• Also lettered in track at PJPII and baseball at Archbishop Carroll

• Born Kamal Gray in Philadelphia, Pa., on July 16, 2001
• Parents are Nina and Kamal Gray
• Father is a musician for The Roots
• Has two sisters, Kamiah (23) and Khasi (10), and two brothers Kash (8) and Kru (2)
• List of favorites include: The Waterboy (movie), Big Mouth (TV show), The Picture of Dorian Gray (book), Russell Wilson (professional athlete)
• Chose to transfer to Stetson because it was a good fit for him athletically, academically and socially
• Is a Business Management major
