Attended Seabreeze High School, where he excelled as a multi-sport athlete and standout student... Competed in weightlifting (four years, three varsity), wrestling (three years, three varsity), track & field (two years, two varsity), and swimming (one year, varsity), while also serving as team captain in both weightlifting and wrestling... Selected to the FACA All-Star North team and set a school record for the most varsity sports played in a single year (five)...
