High School: Was a three-year letter winner for coach Gary Koch at Memorial HS … Helped the Mustangs to a 7-5 record as a senior, earning first team All-District honors … Was a second team All-District pick as a sophomore and junior … Also competed on the weight lifting team and is a school record-holder … Posted marks of 405 in the bench press and 605 in the squad … Chose Stetson over Houston and Florida Atlantic.
