Scott Smith was named the Head Equipment Manager for Stetson University Athletics in February 2020. Smith came to Stetson from James Madison University where he served as the head football equipment manager.
A 2016 graduate of Georgia Southern University, where he worked as a student manager while getting a degree in General Studies with an concentration in business and international relations, Smith worked as a seasonal equipment assistant with the Jacksonville Jaguars before taking a position at Montana State University as assistant director of equipment operations.
He spent two seasons at James Madison working with the Dukes football program.
Smith is a member of the Athletic Equipment Manager Association
A native of Statesboro, Ga., Smith and his wife, Allison have two pets, Jackson and Paulson.
