• Played in 5 games before season-ending injury
• Tossed 23 completions and 51 attempts 
• Threw 252 yards 
• Threw first collegiate TD pass against Furman
• Drew first start at Harvard
• Had 3 passing TD performance against Davidson
• Season-high of 156 passing yards in the game against Davidson

Prior to Stetson

• Played football at University of South Alabama
• Did not see action at South Alabama, while rehabbing knee injury during the 2023 season
• Transferred to Holmes CC in Spring 

High School

• Led 6A powerhouse Hartfield Academy to playoff semi finals
• Broke Hartfield’s single-season records for passing yards, completions, attempts, and passing touchdowns
• Selected to play in the MAIS All-Star Game and Magnolia All-Star Game
• Before transferring to Hartfield, Maxwell helped lead 6A Oxford High School to a 2021 second round playoff appearance and the 2020 state championship
• A 3 year letterman, graduated with honors and a 4.08 GPA

• Grandfather Bill Buchanan played basketball for Mississippi State
