Montay Brandon enters his first season as an Assistant Coach at Stetson University in 2023-2024.
Brandon most recently held the assistant coach position at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2022-2023. Prior to that he was a graduate assistant on the UNC Charlotte coaching staff before. He entered the coaching world following a five-year pro career overseas.
The Greensboro, North Carolina native most recently played for St. John's Edge in the Canadian Basketball league and made stops at Luxembourg, Hong Kong, Japan and Indonesia.Â
Brandon was a four-year starter at Florida State, finishing his collegiate career with the most starts of any Seminole in program history (122) and ranks in the top-25 in free throws made (22nd), free throws attempted (16th) and games played (4th).
