Maci Fox is a Senior Associate Athletic Trainer entering her fourth year with Stetson Sports Medicine and provides coverage for the Men’s Basketball and Men’s Rowing Teams. She supervises the Wilson Athletic Center Athletic Training Room and oversees three Assistant Athletic Trainers based out of the facility. In addition to her supervisory role, she also serves as Stetson’s Athletic Insurance Coordinator. Fox joined the staff in May of 2021 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Hatters’ Football and Women’s Tennis programs before transitioning to her current role in the Spring of 2023.
Prior to her arrival at Stetson, Fox spent three years as the Head Athletic Trainer at Belhaven University, where she provided coverage for the football, basketball, and tennis teams.
From 2016-18, Fox was a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Valdosta State University, where she worked with the volleyball, men’s basketball, tennis, and football programs. She also earned a master’s degree in Higher Education Leadership from Valdosta State in 2018.
Fox completed her undergraduate studies at Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn., earning her bachelor of science in Athletic Training in 2016.
Fox is a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer who is licensed in Florida. She is a member of the National Athletic Training Association and College Athletic Trainers’ Society. She is also certified Dry Needling.
Originally from Indiana, Fox resides in DeLand, Florida.
