Prior to Stetson
- Played two seasons at Eastern Florida State College where he posted a 73.34 scoring average over 61 rounds of competition
- Was selected as a Srixon/Cleveland All-America Scholar both years
Summer of 2022
- Tied for eighth at the Florida Amateur Public Links Championship after posting rounds of 72-69-71
- Carded rounds of 72-72-75-76 to tie for 23rd at the Florida Amateur Championship at the Bear's Club and Lost Tree Club
- Won the 2022 Florida Amateur Match Play Championship, posting a perfect 7-0 record in route to the title
2021-22 Season
- Opened the year with a second place finish at the Dan York Memorial with rounds of 68-66-73
- Followed up with rounds of 73-74-71 at the Invite at Innisbrook hosted by Dalton State
- Had rounds of 74 and 76 at the Central Alabama Trojan Invitational
- Finished third at the McDonough Cup hosted by Rollins College, posting rounds of 74-67-69 to help the Titans to a second place finish
- After getting off to a good start at the Titan Invitational with rounds of 72-73, slipped to a 20th place finish with a final round 80
- Tied for third at the Coastal Alabama Invitational with a 36-hole score of even par 144 (70-74)
- Tied for ninth at the Florida Tech Panther Invitational with rounds of 76-69-72
- Posted rounds of 72-76 at the Glenlakes Invitational
- Earned a sixth place finish at a very strong Battle at the Shores with rounds of 72-69-73
- Posted a fourth place finish at the NJCAA District 4 Championship with rounds of 69-74-71
- Earned first team NJCAA All-America honors after finishing fourth at the NJCAA national championship
- Posted rounds of 73-74-67-70 for a four-under par total of 284
- Finished his sophomore season with a 72.09 scoring average over 31 rounds, ranking as the No. 9 junior college player in the nation
- Was selected as the team MVP for 2022
Summer of 2021
- Shot rounds of 73-68-72 to finish fifth at the 2021 Florida Amateur Public Links Championship
- Tied for 11th at the Florida Open Championship, beating numerous professional players, by posting rounds of 68-70-70
- Advanced to the round of 16 after winning pool play at the 2021 Florida Amateur Match Play Championship
2020-21 Season
- Opened his collegiate career with rounds of 77-77-75 at the Dalton State Invitational at Innisbrook
- Earned his first collegiate top 10 finish at the Keiser Kup after posting rounds of 76-75-73 for a 224 to finish ninth
- Followed up with a seventh place finish at the Webber Fall Invitational after posting rounds of 74-73-72
- Tied for 16th at the EFSC Titan Invitational after carding rounds of 76-80-79
- Finished 12th at Coastal Alabama with a 36-hole score of 149 with rounds of 73-76
- Finished third at the Glenlakes Invitational after rounds of 70-69-72 for a five-under par 211
- Finished with a 231 at the Space Coast Challenge with rounds of 75-81-75
- Bounced back at the Buccaneer Invitational with rounds of 70-76-73
- Saved his best performance of the year for the District 4 Championship with rounds of 73-66-72 to tie for third at 211.
- Made improvements each round at his first NJCAA Championship event, going from 83 to 77 and then 76 before a final round 74
- Finished his first season with a 74.63 scoring average
High School
- Played golf for four seasons at Merritt Island HSÂ for coach Art Friedman
- Was selected to the Florida Today All-Conference team after three of his four seasons
- Was selected as the 2020 Florida Today Boys' Golfer of the Year
- Was a two-time medalist at the district championship and finished second at the 2019 Class 2A state championship

- Has one brother, Charles Perry, and a sister, Lauren Houchin
- Chose Stetson over UCF, FGCU and Florida
- Goal is to help Stetson golf become a national championship program
