Emmett Rutkowski enters his seventh season at the helm of the Stetson men's soccer program in 2026... Since taking over the program in 2020, Rutkowski has transformed the Hatters into one of the ASUN Conference's most consistent programs... Led Stetson to four consecutive seasons with six or more victories and the 2024 ASUN Regular Season Championship, the program's first conference title since 2017... During his tenure, the Hatters have produced three ASUN major award winners, numerous All-ASUN selections and multiple United Soccer Coaches All-Region honorees. Guided the Hatters to a 6-8-3 overall record and 2-3-1 mark in ASUN play... Led Stetson to an ASUN Championship First Round victory over Central Arkansas... Marked the program's fourth consecutive season with six or more victories... Coached Andres Mata and Zsombor Pall to Second Team All-ASUN honors... Mentored Israel Daniels and Valentin Fontaine to ASUN All-Freshman Team recognition. Led Stetson to the ASUN Regular Season Championship with an unbeaten 3-0-4 record in conference play, securing the program's first conference title since 2017... Coached Charles Ahl to ASUN Player of the Year and United Soccer Coaches All-Region honors... Developed Clarence Loriot into the ASUN Defensive Player of the Year and an All-Region selection... Oversaw the breakout campaign of Nicolo Radaelli, who earned ASUN Goalkeeper of the Year... Six Hatters earned All-ASUN honors, including two selections to the All-Freshman Team. Guided the Hatters to a 7-7-4 overall record and a 5-2-2 mark at home... Earned a 2-0 victory over NC State and defeated eventual ASUN Champion Lipscomb, 3-1... Led Stetson to a 6-3-7 record as the Hatters lost just three matches all season, the program's fewest in a single campaign since 1989... Went 4-1 against in-state opponents with victories over South Florida, FGCU, North Florida and Jacksonville... Scored six goals in a win over FGCU, the program's most in a match since 2014 and its most ever against the Eagles... Served as an assistant coach at Mercer University in 2013 and from 2016-17... Coached Will Bagrou, a 2018 MLS SuperDraft selection, All-American and MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist... Mentored goalkeeper Jeremy Booth, a two-time SoCon Tournament MVP and program record-holder in goals against average. Served as head coach at Centenary College in Louisiana from 2014-15... Doubled the program's win total during his first season... Helped improve the team's GPA from 2.45 to 3.0 while 13 players earned SCAC All-Academic Honor Roll recognition... Mentored Michael Pullano, recipient of the SCAC Character and Community Award. Spent the 2012 season as goalkeeper coach at Dartmouth College... Helped the Big Green finish as Ivy League runner-up... Coached one All-Region honoree and five All-Ivy selections... Helped the program earn the NSCAA Team Academic Award. Began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Frostburg State from 2010-11... Helped the program improve from 4-10-3 to 11-3-5... Advanced to the CAC semifinals and ECAC postseason...
