Allison "Allie" Windom joined the Stetson Athletics staff in August of 2019 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. She serves as the primary trainer for the Hatters' men's soccer and beach volleyball programs.
A native of Monclova, Ohio, Windom attended the University of Toledo where she worked as a student trainer while earning a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Athletic Training in 2016. While at Toledo she gained experience working with the women's soccer, football, baseball, track and cross country programs.
She moved on to Eastern Kentucky University as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer where she primarily worked with the Colonels' baseball program while earning a Master's in Sports Administration in 2018. At EKU, working under current Stetson Head Athletics Trainer Tim Miesmer, she worked with a variety of teams in addition to baseball, including football, women's basketball, soccer and golf and men's golf.Â
After receiving her Master's she moved on to work as an Intern Athletic Trainer at Ohio State University where she had primary coverage for the Buckeyes' men's volleyball program.Â
Windom holds certification from the National Athletic Trainers Association and is a Licensed Athletic Trainer in Ohio where she is a member of the Athletic Trainers Association. She is also CPR and AED certified.
