Biography

2011-12: Etta McTeer Turner Award winner at Stetson University commencement for academic excellence...did not play singles in the spring...1-1 (1-0 A-Sun) in doubles...teamed with Hans Adrian Riseng for a doubles win against A-Sun rival Mercer on March 17.


2010-11: Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team...1-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles...singles and doubles win vs. Oberlin (March 29) and doubles win vs. Saint Leo (Feb. 12).


2009-10: Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team...3-1 in singles and 1-0 in doubles...earned perfect 8-0 (doubles) and 6-0, 6-0 (singles) wins against Oberlin on March 29...other singles wins in Stetson victories against Siena (Feb. 21) and Eckerd (March 2).


2008-09:  Won both singles matches he played in as a rookie...did not play doubles...defeated Stefan Putyera (Siena) and Spencer Washington (Roger Williams) in straight sets.  

 

Prior to Stetson:  native of Australia...earned J. Ollie Edmunds Scholarship to attend Stetson University....valedictorian of his graduating class...top honors in chemistry, physics and mathematics...in addition to tennis, competed in cross country, track and field among other sports....top 500 junior ranking in Australia.

Personal:  Son of Dennis and Rhonda Moran.
