2009-10: Second Team All-Atlantic Sun...A-Sun All-Academic Team...15-7 (7-3 A-Sun) in singles...split time between #1 and #2 singles...18-4 (8-2 A-Sun) in doubles...recorded a 14-4 record with Njal Stene and perfect 4-0 mark when paired with Alex Hackett.

2008-09: Atlantic Sun All-Tournament Team...A-Sun Player of the Week (Feb. 18)...13-8 overall, 6-4 in A-Sun play...played exclusively #2 singles...16-7 in doubles, 6-4 in A-Sun matches...usually paired with Cesare Gallo at #3 doubles...won seven of nine singles matches between March 8 and April 2...won nine of his last 11 doubles matches of the year. 

Prior to Stetson:  Transfer from NCAA Division II Hawai'i Pacific University...two-time ITA Academic All-American...helped HPU win Pacific West Conference championship and advance to NCAA Division II quarterfinals in 2008...20-5 singles record, 21-13 doubles record in two seasons...Top 200 ranking in Europe and Germany...ranked in top 1500 in the world...has defeated a top 400 world-ranked player and a former Division II #1 ranked player...graduated from Georg-Buechner-Gymnasium Koeln in 2006.

Personal:  Son of Rudolf and Yvette Mestan...born July 18, 1986...favorite American sports team is the San Jose Sharks...favorite movie is Pulp Fiction...although a junior athletically in the 2008-09 campaign, Mestan is already working on his MBA at Stetson.
