2007: Wightman was named to the All-Atlantic Sun Second Team and the A-Sun All-Tournament team as a junior in a season in which she batted .345 with seven home runs, 39 RBI and a .563 slugging percentage, all numbers that ranked her second on the team. Wightman’s 13 doubles tied her for the team lead with Andrea Migliori and were the fifth-highest season total in program history while her seven homers made her only the ninth Stetson player to hit that many in a season. Wightman proved to be an especially effective slugger in conference games, where she batted .449, slugged a whopping .796 and reached base more than half the time (.517 on-base percentage). She was a fixture in the Stetson infield, starting 35 times at second base, 31 at shortstop and once at third base. She had two hits in the NCAA Tournament elimination game against Texas and went three for four with a grand slam against Florida Atlantic in the regular season finale. One of the most consistent hitters ever to wear a Hatter uniform, she enters her senior season firmly entrenched on several Stetson career top 10 lists. Wightman ranks sixth in base hits (164), fifth in doubles (33), sixth in home runs (12), fifth in RBI (97), third in total bases (241), ninth in slugging percentage (.456), fifth in walks (60) and tied for ninth in sacrifices (25).Â

2006: Played in and started all 61 games as a sophomore... played mostly second base ... also saw time as a designated player... made five appearances at shortstop ... second on the team in doubles ... tied a season-high with four RBI against St. John’s on March 5 ... tallied 30 RBI on the season, third best on the team ... had a .371 on base percentage ... third on the team in total bases (81) ... hit four home runs for the season ... recorded three hits on three at bats with four RBI’s against St. John’s on March 5 ... three hits on three at bats with three RBI’s against Boston University on March 17 .. in last six games of the season she had eight RBI.
2005: Started in all 55 games as a freshman ... earned Atlantic Sun All-Freshman team honors ... played mostly at shortstop and first base ... finished second on the team and sixth in the A-Sun in doubles .. was third on the team in RBIs ... notched a season-high seven RBIs and two runs off a 3-for-4 performance including her first career grand slam against Bethune-Cookman on Feb. 19 ... went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two Doubles vs. Webber International (2/5) ... also had doubles against Bethune-Cookman on Feb. 9 and Alabama A&M on March 19 ... walked with the bases loaded in extra innings for the gamewinning RBI against Fordham (3/23) .. earned academic all-conference honors.
High School: Graduated from Elgin Park Secondary ... helped lead the Burnaby Oakeys (travel team) to a 2003 Provincial Championship and 2003 Canadian National Championship ... was the National Championship Game MVP after hitting the game-winning home run ... chosen All-Star third baseman at the 2004 Canada Cup Tournament ... named to the 2002 Canadian Junior Women’s National Team and played in the World Championships in Nanjing, China ... also participated in varsity volleyball.
