Brittany Drew joined the Stetson women's basketball staff as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator ahead of the 2026-27 season after spending the previous two seasons at UNC Wilmington.
UNC WILMINGTON
During her two seasons with the Seahawks, Drew contributed to recruiting, player development and game preparation while helping mentor several of the Colonial Athletic Association's top performers... In 2024-25, she coached CAA Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-CAA selection Ali Zelaya... Also worked with Evan Miller, who became UNCW's all-time leader in games played before signing a professional contract with A.D. Sanjoanense in Portugal... Drew helped develop Kate Hollifield, who led the CAA by shooting 43.5 percent from three-point range during conference play... Also worked with Tia Dobson, who paced all league freshmen with 65 assists.

HIGH POINT CHRISTIAN ACADEMY
Prior to entering the collegiate coaching ranks, Drew served as the head coach at High Point Christian Academy from 2019-24... Surpassed 100 career victories during her fifth season and was twice named Piedmont Triad Athletic Conference Coach of the Year... Guided the Lady Cougars to three NCISAA 3A state championship appearances and three conference titles... Under her leadership, numerous players earned all-conference and all-state recognition, including three Piedmont Triad Athletic Conference Player of the Year recipients... Selected as the East coach for both the North Carolina Private School All-Star Game and the Triad Blue Chip All-Star Game... Also gained coaching experience at Grimsley High School, where she served as the junior varsity girls' head coach and a varsity assistant, and on the AAU circuit with the Greensboro Gators and Team Felton.
PLAYING CAREER
A native of Greensboro, N.C., Drew enjoyed a decorated playing career at Guilford College from 2011-15... Appeared in 110 games, including 69 starts, and concluded her career ranked among the program leaders in games played, minutes, three-pointers made and attempted, field-goal attempts and assists... Scored more than 870 career points while totaling 194 assists and more than 100 steals... Earned Second Team All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference honors as a senior after averaging 9.5 points and a career-best 2.3 assists per game... Scored in double figures 11 times that season, including a career-high 20 points against Emory & Henry... As a junior, averaged 8.9 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game while leading Guilford in three-pointers made... Also averaged 8.1 points as a sophomore and 5.3 points during her freshman campaign... Attended Page High School, where she earned all-area and All-Metro 4A Conference honors in basketball... Also competed in track and field.
ACADEMICS & COMMUNITY
Five-time member of Guilford's Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll and earned Dean's List recognition... Participated in the Principled Problem Solving Scholars program and Guilford's Africana Change initiative while volunteering with Urban Ministries... Was a member of the National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes during her prep career.
