A member of the inaugural Stetson beach team in 2012, Melville put together a decorated four-year career in the sand.  She twice earned first team all-conference honors including ASUN Pair of the Year and ASUN Pair of the Tournament accolades in 2015.  She went a perfect 12-0 against ASUN competition as a senior and helped Stetson defeat Georgia State in the AVCA Collegiate Beach Championship.  She also competed in the AVCA Collegiate Pairs Championship in 2012, 2014, and 2015.

In addition, Melville had a standout four-year career with the Stetson indoor volleyball team.  She led the team in kills every season, and finished her career second in school history in kills (1,282) and third in digs (1,203).  As a senior, she earned all-conference honors and helped Stetson qualify for the ASUN Championship for the first time in 18 seasons.  She was the department's female recipient of the Distinguished Senior Award.

A native of New Germany, Minn., Melville was named MVP and an All-American at the AAU National Championships in 2009. She graduated from Stetson in 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies.  She then earned a Master’s Degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling from Stetson in 2017.   She is looking to become a licensed therapist and plans to begin work on a PhD.
