Freshman at Nebraska (2024-25)
A three-time all-conference and all-regional golfer at Barrington High School in Illinois, Bridget Butler helped the Broncos to the 2021 Illinois Class 2A state team championship as a sophomore.

Butler, who also led Barrington to four consecutive Mid-Suburban League and regional team titles, hopes to contend for immediate playing time in a new-look Nebraska lineup in 2024-25.

Butler is a three-time all-conference and all-regional golfer at Barrington High School in Illinois. She helped the Broncos to the 2021 Class 2A state team championship as a sophomore, while also leading the school to four consecutive conference and regional team titles.

Butler, who was the 2022 individual regional champion, also won individual titles in 2023 at the Mike Rusk tournament, Conway Farms tournament and the Kevin Streelman Invitational.
 
A strong performer in the classroom, Butler was a member of National Honor Society in high school.

Personal
The daughter of Tom and Amy Butler, Bridget was born June 1, 2006. Bridget is majoring in sports media and communication and earned a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll with a perfect 4.0 GPA in the fall of 2024. She was also a member of the 2025 Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.
