Biography

2018 (Junior): Played in 16 games, making 15 starts … twice grabbed three ground balls in one game (Delaware State, Kennesaw State) … caused two turnovers against Vermont.

2017 (Sophomore): Played in 15 games with 12 starts … finished the season with 14 ground balls, 10 caused turnovers and two draw controls … had a season-high four ground balls at Howard.

2016 (Freshman): Appeared in and started all 17 games … one of only seven players to start every game … had 10 ground balls, won three draws and caused five turnovers … caused two turnovers in win over UMass Lowell … had two ground balls against both Presbyterian and Old Dominion.

High School: Helped lead Delaware Valley Regional High to a combined 59 wins in four seasons … recorded 63 ground balls in her career, including 25 as a senior … helped lead Delaware Valley to a conference championship … honored with the Coaches Award as a senior … also lettered in volleyball … played club lacrosse for T3 Elite North.

Personal: Full name is Taryn Ashmore Cook-Grisewood … born April 29, 1997 … daughter of Ken Grisewood and Nadia Cook … sister, Cali, plays lacrosse at University of Mount Olive … majoring in Integrative Health Sciences.
