Chloe Marquez joined the Hatters staff in March 2024 as an Assistant Coach. A native of Dublin where she was an underage International player for the Republic of Ireland. Flynn came to America in 2016 to play soccer at Hutchinson Community College. She made First-Team All-Conference in 2016 & 2017 and 2nd Team All-Region in 2017. After her time at HCC she transferred to Emporia State University where they made their first ever NCAA Tournament appearance in 2018. Chloe played as a defender and was a team captain for both Hutchinson CC and Emporia State, After graduating from Emporia State with a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in Coaching in 2022, she returned home to Ireland to play in the Women's National League for Bohemians FC and Athlone Town FC. Â

Began her coaching career in 2022 at Emporia State as a Graduate Assistant. After excelling in one year as a Graduate Assistant, she was promoted to Full-Time Assistant. At the end of the 2023 season, she was promoted to Interim Head Coach. While at Emporia State in 2022 she had 1 First Team All-American, 2 Academic All-Americans, 2 First Team All-Region, and 1 2nd Team All-Region player. In 2023, she had 1 First-team All-American, 1 NJCAA All-America, 2 Academic All-Americans, 3 First Team-All Region players, MIAA Offensive and Co-Defensive players of the year, and Central Region Player of the year. In her time at Emporia State they had 2 NCAA Tournament Appearances, making it to the round of 16 in 2022 & 2023. They won the MIAA Conference Tournament in 2023.Â

Chloe will graduate with a Masters in Health, Physical Education and Coaching in May 2024.
