Nic Fischer joined the Stetson men's soccer coaching staff as goalkeeper coach ahead of the 2026 season... Arrived in DeLand after spending three seasons at McKendree University, where he developed a reputation for goalkeeper development, recruiting and player analysis while helping mentor multiple All-Great Lakes Valley Conference performers.
MCKENDREE UNIVERSITY
Spent three seasons with the Bearcats from 2023-25, serving as a graduate assistant before being promoted to assistant coach in May 2025... Directed goalkeeper training sessions, conducted video analysis and assisted with match preparation... Also played an integral role in recruiting and player development... Helped coach goalkeepers to All-GLVC honors in each of his three seasons... Mentored Christian Herluf to All-GLVC Second Team honors in 2023 before helping him become the first GLVC Goalkeeper of the Year in McKendree history in 2024... During Herluf's award-winning 2024 campaign, he led the GLVC with a 0.391 goals-against average, .841 save percentage and 12 shutouts... Fischer also assisted Toby Lewis in earning All-GLVC Third Team recognition in 2025.
