Owen Jack

Owen Jack

Hired: August 2024

Former Stetson team captain Owen Jack returned to his alma mater ahead of the 2024 season and is now in his second year as an assistant coach with the Hatters. Jack works directly with the goalkeepers and played an instrumental role in the development of Nicolo Radaelli, who was named ASUN Goalkeeper of the Year in 2024.

Since joining the staff, Jack has helped Stetson capture the 2024 ASUN Regular Season Championship—its first since 2017—while contributing to one of the league’s top defensive units. Under his guidance, the Hatters allowed just five goals in seven conference regular season matches and went unbeaten in ASUN play.

As a player, Jack spent five seasons at Stetson from 2018 to 2022, making 22 career appearances in goal and earning six shutouts. He served as team captain during his senior season and led the ASUN in saves (53), save percentage (.779), and saves per game (4.42) in 2022. Known for his leadership and consistency, he helped solidify the culture of Stetson’s back line during his final years on the field.

Following his undergraduate career, Jack used his final year of eligibility as a graduate transfer at the University of Vermont in 2023. He started all 21 matches for the Catamounts, logging 1,910 minutes (6th nationally) and recording eight shutouts (8th nationally). He posted a 13-6-2 record with a 0.85 goals against average and helped lead Vermont to the NCAA Tournament Second Round, where he tallied three saves in a double-overtime win over No. 5 UCF.

Jack earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance and an MBA from Stetson. He also holds a graduate certificate in Business and Sustainability from the University of Vermont
