Amanda Chambers joined Stetson in August of 2024 and will work primarily with the Hatters pitching staff. Chambers was previously at UT Martin where she worked primarily with the Skyhawk pitching staff.
Chambers joined UT Martin after spending five seasons as an assistant coach at Christian Brothers University from 2019-23. During her tenure, the Lady Bucs posted 26 conference wins – including a 10-win season in 2022 which ranked as the most Gulf South Conference wins in school history.
She got her start in the coaching ranks as a prep pitching coach at Parkview High School from 2017-18.
Her collegiate playing career featured stops at both Georgia Southern and St. Petersburg College. During her junior and senior campaign at Georgia Southern, she appeared in 18 games while picking up a win against South Carolina State and tossing 24.0 career innings of work. She also spent two seasons at St. Petersburg College where she picked up seven wins as a sophomore and tossed 98.1 innings of work while earning second team all-conference honors.
The Lilburn, Ga. native graduated with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Georgia Southern in May of 2017 before later acquiring a master’s in business administration from Christian Brothers in May of 2021.
