Greg Miller joined the Stetson Football coaching staff in March 2026 and serves as Outside Linebackers Coach under head coach Mike Jasper. Miller arrived in DeLand with experience as a collegiate defensive backs coach along with more than a decade coaching at the high school level… His background includes multiple head-coaching stops, a district championship in Florida and a season at Albright College in which the defense made significant statistical improvement. At Stetson, Miller works directly with the Hatters' outside linebackers as part of defensive coordinator Dustin Kincaid's staff. His background includes experience coaching defensive backs at both the collegiate and high school levels along with extensive time as a head coach… That combination gives Miller experience developing defensive players while also understanding the broader organization and preparation required to lead a program. Miller began his first season with the Hatters in 2026 after joining the program during the spring. Miller's first season at Stetson began in 2026 as the Hatters continued building their defense under Jasper and Kincaid. Stetson earned its first victory of the season with a 45-10 win over Webber International in the home opener at Spec Martin Memorial Stadium. The Hatters held Webber scoreless through the first three quarters and limited the Warriors to 185 yards of total offense while recording an interception and a sack. Prior to joining Stetson, Miller served as the defensive backs coach at Albright College in Reading, Pa. During his season with the Lions, Miller helped a defensive unit make significant improvement within the Middle Atlantic Conference. Albright improved from eighth to second in the conference defensively while allowing nearly 100 fewer yards per game than the previous season. The stop gave Miller collegiate coaching experience after more than a decade working as both an assistant and head coach at the high school level. Before moving into the collegiate ranks, Miller spent 12 seasons as a high school assistant and head coach. Immediately prior to Albright, he served as the head football coach at Pine Ridge High School after spending the previous season coaching defensive backs at South Gwinnett High School in Georgia. Miller also previously served as head coach at River Ridge High School in New Port Richey, Fla. At River Ridge, he guided the program to a district championship and was selected as a finalist for Tampa Bay Area Coach of the Year honors. Miller's move to Stetson continued a coaching career with extensive ties to the state of Florida. His previous Florida experience includes head-coaching positions at River Ridge and Pine Ridge High Schools. At River Ridge, Miller led the program to a district championship while earning recognition as a finalist for Tampa Bay Area Coach of the Year. That experience gives Miller familiarity with high school football throughout the state as he continues his collegiate coaching career in DeLand. Miller is a 2002 graduate of King's College.
