Jacob Gowan serves as Stetson University's Broadcast Media Technician, responsible for producing, managing and executing live video production for approximately 125 Stetson athletic events annually for ESPN+. Gowan also assists with the production of several campus events, including annual convocation and graduation ceremonies.
A 2018 graduate of Stetson University with bachelor of arts degrees in both political science and communication and media studies.  He earned experience in broadcast operations as a student, serving in a variety of capacities on the athletic program's ESPN3/ESPN+ event productions. While an undergraduate student, he also served as a media production intern with the Volusia County Sheriff's Office and gained experience in roles with Stetson's Facilities Management, Sports Medicine and Continuing Education and Outreach departments.
Upon graduation, Gowan continued to serve Stetson's broadcast operations as a Production Assistant and moved into his current full time role in August 2021.
