Stetson University Athletics

Mike Bischoff is entering his 6th year as a certified Athletic Trainer and his second year with the Hatters. Prior to stepping into the Senior Athletic Trainer role at Stetson University, he was previously the Head Football Athletic Trainer at East Tennessee State University.

Mike started his career as a graduate assistant at ETSU covering baseball and was hired as a full-time Assistant Athletic Trainer at ETSU with main sport coverage of baseball and football in 2023. He is a licensed athletic trainer and holds certifications in dry needling, CPR/first aid for the professional rescuer and oxygen administration.

At Stetson, Mike’s primary sport responsibilities are with the Baseball and XC/Track and Field Programs.

He is originally from Long Island, New York and graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2021. He enjoys watching the Yankees and Gators play and spending time with his family. Kelcey Ferguson was quoted to say, “Mike is my favorite staff member. He is the epitome of what it means to be a HATTER. Nobody I would rather pass the baseball reins to.”
