Norbert "Nob" Savard joined the Stetson Athletics family in 2021 as a facilities and operations assistant, helping to run the 2021 ASUN Beach Volleyball championship. He quickly earned a promotion to Facilities and Operations Coordinator in August and has now, in April of 2022, been again promoted to the full-time position of Assistant Director of Facilities and Operations.
In his role, he works with almost every Stetson team in set up of facilities for practices and games. He also is responsible for handling parking and concessions on game days, assists visiting teams with their needs, including facilitating locker room space and practice times and working with game officials.
A native of Lake Mary, Fla., Savard received his Bachelor's degree in Sports Management from the University of Tampa in 2021. He was the recipient of a Bright Futures Scholarship as well as a Minaret Academic Scholarship.
While a student, Savard gathered a wide-range of experience in managing athletics events. The many events he has worked includes: the NHL All-Star Game in Tampa, the St. Pete Grand Prix and game day staff for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, including working at Super Bowl LV.
Savard has also served as an operations intern for the Florida Collegiate Summer League as well as game day support staff for the Toronto Blue Jays during the first two months of the 2021 season when the Jays played their home games in Dunedin, Florida.
In addition to his work in and around Stetson Athletics, Savard is a Founding Father of the Delta Colony of Phi Gamma Delta.
