Stetson University Athletics

Ed Kirkland was a flight instructor and combat pilot in WWII. Following the war Ed attended Miami University and the Stetson Law School. In 1951 he was elected to the Florida House of Representatives. He then went on to have a very successful 50 year career in law being a criminal defense attorney. In 1963 Ed also won the Florida State Men's Amateur Golf Championship.
