Hall of Fame
Walker played basketball in Georgia at Woodward Academy in College Park, Georgia. Upon graduating, she went to play basketball at Georgia Teach from 2001-2003. Walker transferred to Stetson where she was a team captain, won a conference championship, and led the team to the program’s first ever NCAA Women’s Basketball National Tournament appearance. She graduated from Stetson with a Bachelors of Arts and a Masters of Business Administration. Walker went onto get her PhD in Sports Management from the University of Florida and took a job as a sport management professor at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
