Daytona Beach, Fla. ? The women's golf team took to Daytona Beach for the Bethune-Cookman Spring Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
Like the men, the women's team did just as well, shooting 332 (+71) as a team, in the final round to put them in a tie for fourth place with Charleston Southern.
Sophomore Ashley Kozlowski (Windsor, CT), lead the Hatters, with a two-round total of 154 (+10), to put her in a fourth place finish. Teammate freshman Danielle Jackson (Gainsville, Fla.) finished the tournament in 19th place shooting a two day total of 163 (+19), while Lauren Darnell rounded out the top twenty, shooting twenty-over-par (164) for a four way tie for 20th place.
Junior Kara Doyle (St. Louis, MO) finished in a tie for 26th with a 167 (+23) and senior Ainsley Wellinghoff (Champaign, Ill.) ended the tournament in 31st with a score of 170 (+26).
The Hatters will be on the course again in Vero Beach, Florida at the St. John's tournament on March 7-9.
