ORLANDO – Stetson women's golf team holds a narrow lead after the first round of the first tournament of the 2025-26 season, the Seminole State Warm-Up at Rio Pinar Country Club in Orlando. The Hatters carded a team total of 293 (+5) to sit atop the leaderboard, just one stroke ahead of Florida Southern College, who posted a 294 (+6). Seminole State College sits in third at 301 (+13), followed by the University of Tampa at 304 (+16) and Eastern Florida State College at 305 (+17).
Individually, sophomore Isaki Sakashita leads Stetson at T2 with a 71 (-1), posting three birdies and 13 pars. Senior Julieta Oviedo finished at 72 (E), while sophomore Bridget Butler, competing as an individual, carded a 73 (+1) with three birdies. Senior Filippa Jansson posted 74 (+2), also recording 13 pars. Junior Elizabeth Eberle (individual) shot 75 (+3), with senior Alisa Brannock and sophomore Anna Huettl (individual) both finishing at 76 (+4). Freshman Maggie Potash rounded out the team scoring at 78 (+6).
Rounding out the field, Palm Beach State College finished at 320 (+32), Florida Gateway College at 333 (+45), and Lake Sumter State College at 410 (+122). Stetson looks to build on this opening-round lead as the tournament continues.
